How it works: It’s simple! Simply bring in a used or unused and unnatural personal care product from home such as a deodorant, perfume, moisturiser, soap etc and we will replace it with a comparable natural product at 40% off the retail price.

In order to raise awareness about what’s really in your personal care products, pūr alternatives is putting a call out to the people in their community to have a look at the ingredient lists of the products they use every day. At pūr alternatives we think that there are simply too many synthetic ingredients found in bath and body products that are questionable as to their long term health effects. They want everyone to know that choosing safe alternatives doesn’t have to be complicated, confusing or a lot of work! It’s easy at a store where we have personally read every ingredient label for you and guarantee no green-washing. (Don’t believe us? Come check us out, you won’t be disappointed!)

This promotion supports our commitment to raise awareness about chemicals in personal care products that you might not want your skin absorbing, lets everyone know about these chemicals, their harmful effects, and their natural alternatives. And so, pūr alternatives is holding a product swap in the store from 20 May – 22 May, 2010.

Wondering what will happen to the products you bring in? We’ll dispose of it at a HRM toxic dump site and recycle the packaging.
